For use across the education sector, initial installations have been at several K-12 school districts in New York as well as a government agency in Virginia.

The system uses automated driver’s license scanning; sex offender information is comprehensive, up-to-date and accurate. Seamless integration with the school’s individual SIS allows visitors to be connected to student data, making the management and processing of visitors easy and efficient.
The addition of the ATOM® has allowed the automation of the registration process with data automatically taken from a passport or approved Identity Document (Driver’s License, National ID Card) and transferred into ScholarChip’s Visitor Management system. The automation of this process not only speeds it up it also prevents manual typing errors being made while delivering a better user experience.
The ATOM® ePassport reader combines the most advanced technology with a small, elegant design and minimal footprint. Passport image capture, OCR text conversion and data import complete within just a few seconds thanks to its USB 3.0 high speed data transfer capability.
